We are currently looking for a Project Engineer. Reporting to the Operation Director, the Project Engineer will manage the plant's engineering projects. He/she will work closely with the company's various departments to design and implement projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working as part of a team.

Responsibilities
• Design innovative solutions using computer-aided design (CAD) tools;
• Lead and manage projects;
• Supervise internal resources and subcontractors assigned to projects;
• Establish and update schedules;
• Ensure compliance with budgets and quality of work;
• Ensure equipment bidding;
• Participate in the commissioning and configuration of the various equipment installed;
• Organize launch, project follow-up and post-mortem meetings;
• Support the other departments and act as a technical reference;
• Prepare and update the documentation required for the proper operation of equipment;
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, laws and regulations.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or other relevant training;
• Holder of an Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) license
• Relevant experience in Health and Safety and in a manufacturing environment, an asset;
• Knowledge of CAD software, preferably SolidWorks;
• Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
• Communication skills and team spirit;
• Outstanding planning and design skills;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English;
• Available to travel between sites;
• Available to manage projects in different sites (Greater Toronto);
• A valid driver's license;
• Valid passport
