Responsibilities
- Establishing the project budget: The project controller participates in the creation and definition of the project budget in collaboration with the project manager and other stakeholders.
- Monitor expenditure: The project controller keeps a close eye on project expenditure to ensure that it remains within budget.
- Analyze variances: Identify discrepancies between budget forecasts and actual expenditure, and propose corrective action where necessary.
- Financial forecasting: Regularly updates the project's financial forecasts, taking into account variations and unforeseen events.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) monitoring: The Project Controller defines and monitors the project's KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to measure efficiency and progress.
- Performance reporting: The project controller produces regular reports on project performance (in terms of costs, deadlines, quality) for the project manager and stakeholders.
Qualifications
For this position, the following requirements are necessary:
- Bachelor degree or CPA title an asset
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with project accounting
- Good written and verbal communication skills in French and English
- Demonstrate autonomy, rigor and curiosity.
