Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, monitor performance against budgets, and provide variance analysis and explanations for management review.
- Track and analyze project costs, recommend cost-saving strategies, and ensure accurate allocation of costs to specific projects or departments.
- Assist with budget preparation, tax return filings, and advise on tax planning strategies, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and laws.
- Manage financial risks, recommend improvements to financial processes, and coordinate external audits, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee cash flow, accounts payable/receivable functions, financial systems, compliance, and mentor junior staff while supporting strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or similar field of study,
- CPA or similar designation nice to have
- 5+ years of experience
- Skilled in using financial software and ERP systems.
