Responsibilities
- Perform data migration activities to ensure the successful conversion of data from the legacy Apprenticeship and Certification Information System (ACIS) to the new Apprenticeship Information Management (AMS) Solution;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data migration requirements and ensure all needs are met;
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process;
- Address and resolve any issues related to data extraction, transformation, and loading; and
- Support additional data migration and reporting activities as required.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- Proven experience in data migration, including data extraction, transformation, and loading;
- Strong understanding of data integrity and quality assurance best practices;
- Proficiency in working with large datasets and complex legacy systems;
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; and
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with apprenticeship or certification data systems;
- Knowledge of modern data migration tools and methodologies;
- Familiarity with public sector projects or government systems; and
- Proficiency in generating reports and insights from migrated data.
