Responsibilities
Program Pharmacy Assistant - Burlington, ON
✔ Accurately input patient information into Kroll, ensuring effective adjudication and completion of billing-related duties.
✔ Assist patients with non-clinical requests via phone and proactively resolve any arising issues over the phone.
✔ Work closely with the team, maintaining clear communication and smooth cooperation across departments.
✔ Manage workload independently, including handling inboxes, administrative tasks (Teams), and multitasking efficiently.
✔ Support the pharmacy team with medication picking and labeling, and prepare shipping waybills with accuracy.
Qualifications
Program Pharmacy Assistant - Burlington, ON
✔ Experience in either retail (3+ years min.) or non-retail (1+ year min.) pharmacy is required, with the ability and ambition to progress into specialty pharmacy.
✔ Strong experience with third-party adjudication and insurance billing is mandatory.
✔ Strong data entry skills, the ability to think on your feet, and a creative, problem-solving mindset. Multi-tasking and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment is essential.
✔ In-depth understanding of dispensing processes.
✔ Proven ability to self-manage your tasks and workload independently.
