Responsibilities
Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols, wear proper PPE, and use tools and equipment that are in good working condition.
- Maintain strict compliance with organizational safety standards, work practices, policies, and legal regulations.
- Lead and support safety incident investigations, applying systematic problem-solving techniques and ensuring the timely closure of improvement actions.
- Inspire, coach, and train team leads and members on SOPs, safety practices, and housekeeping, with collaboration from planning, maintenance, and HR.
- Manage shift schedules, including workstation assignments, training, and timecard approval, ensuring smooth operations.
- Develop and empower team leads to be effective leaders, fostering a collaborative culture and achieving team objectives.
- Build and maintain a versatile production and forklift team, adaptable to varying materials and evolving technologies.
- Work closely with maintenance to implement TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) strategies, optimizing uptime, performance, and overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
- Drive continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives, leading the team in enhancing processes and maximizing financial outcomes.
Qualifications
- 5 years experience as a production supervisor with experience in a manufacturing facility
- Similar industry experience - manufacturing, automotive, electronics
