- 12h rotating shifts (bi-weekly): 6AM-6PM or 7AM-7PM & 6PM-6AM or 7AM-7PM
- Salary: $78,000 to $81,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Monitor staff performance including the timely completion of individual performance reviews and ensure developmental goals are in place for staff to maximize their potential.
- Inspire your team to achieve excellent results on each shift, ensuring motivational levels remain high and encourage your team to participate in the success of the business. Part of this is to ensure that the roles and responsibilities of each team member are clear.
- Promote a customer-first attitude through coaching and setting a great example while remaining calm under pressure.
- Provide technical input into the creation of technical documents (i.e. SWI’s, PPS’s, and troubleshooting manuals).
- Work in conjunction with the Manager, Senior Supervisor, and technical lead to develop and implement improvements to achieve departmental results and objectives.
- Provide excellent leadership by example from the floor to everyone on your shift, acting with honesty and integrity and ensuring that the cultural values of Aspire Bakeries are being promoted at all times.
- Ensure all employees are aware of their responsibilities specific to food safety, legality and quality.
- Maintain the required hygiene, safety and quality standards on the production floor.
- Ensure a clean and safe work area.
- Complete necessary paperwork.
- Provide back-up to the Senior Supervisor during vacation periods or other periods of absence.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong problem solving and analytical abilities and mechanical aptitude.
- The willingness to adapt to multiple priorities.
- Practical experience in operating most production lines within the facility.
- Hands-on, willing attitude.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Taking initiative to achieve results.
- Interpersonal skills to maintain positive employee relations.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Dedicated and energetic.
- A minimum of 2-3 years related experience within the food manufacturing sector would be preferred.
- Preference will be given to candidates who possess post secondary education in business, food science or technical trades or equivalent experience.
