This role involves collaborating across departments, managing production schedules, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and supporting a high-performing team.
Job Type: Permanent position
Location: Calgary, AB
Schedule: Overnight 5x8 - Monday 11pm to Saturday 7am,
Environment: Non-unionized
Salary: $70,000 - $76,000 per year (range based on experience and certification)

Responsibilities
As a Production Supervisor of the night shift, duties will include:
- Supervise and support production staff to maintain a high-performing team.
- Enforce safety protocols and lead regular safety talks and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, sanitation, and food safety standards.
- Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Logistics to resolve production issues.
- Conduct shift handovers and ensure clear communication between teams.
- Address employee concerns and apply workplace policies fairly.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend process improvements to boost productivity.
- Monitor and maintain adequate stock of non-inventory supplies.
- Support employee training and identify development opportunities.
Qualifications
What do you need for this position?
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a supervisor with direct involvement in a production facility;
- Experience in a food/beverage manufacturing environment.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership skills, and the ability to work in a team;
- Knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP and OH&S) is preferred.
- Prior experience in Quality Control and/or Operations within the Dairy, beverage or food processing industry an asset
