Responsibilities
Identify customers and industry needs to guide new product development initiatives.
Conduct thorough market research to discover unmet needs and market trends.
Oversee product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with company goals and market demands.
Lead product development from concept to launch, including prototyping, testing, and design audits.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align product objectives with strategic goals.
Develop product specifications, production schedules, pricing strategies, and marketing plans.
Assess market competition and recommend enhancements to product lines to maintain competitiveness.
Perform return-on-investment analyses for proposed product developments.
Analyze sales data and feedback to ensure products remain viable and competitive.
Introduce and market new products through strategic partnerships with sales, and production teams.
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
Coordinate with sales, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful product launches.
Create and monitor project schedules, allocate resources, and ensure timely follow-ups.
Develop and execute global sales and marketing plans to increase revenue and enhance ETI’s visibility.
Facilitate inventory turnover and ensure product availability by adjusting inventory levels and production schedules.
Provide regular reports and forecasts to management on product performance and market positioning.
Support the quality policy, scope, and objectives of the quality management system (QMS).
Adhere to occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and company regulations.
Follow the company’s life rules policy and code of ethics.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years in product development or a related role.
Proven experience in product innovation and development, preferably in the steel or manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of product development processes, including drafting Product and Market requirements
Documents.
Proficiency in CAD software for prototyping.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication, presentation, and public speaking abilities.
Ability to work collaboratively in teams and independently.
Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
Skilled in leading diverse teams and managing cross-functional collaboration.
