Responsibilities
Operate digital print equipment
• Operate inserter equipment
• Perform basic quality inspection before, during and after output of each production run
• Track and store jobs as customer requires for reuse at a future date
• Maintain reporting logs and information for billing purposes
• Wrap, pack, label, and ship finished product
• Maintain appropriate supply inventory levels
• Problem solve basic issues to complete production, delivery, and output requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to be on your feet for up to 80% of your day
• Ability and willingness to learn and develop
• Operate digital color equipment and electronic workflow tools
• Modify document layouts and impositions to achieve desired finished results
• Apply color management, color correction, trapping and image editing SKILLS
• Good communications skills (oral and written)
• Intermediate use of MS Office, Adobe and other relevant software
• Ability to demonstrate advanced computer skills including MS Office
• Ability to coach and mentor co-workers
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE: 2+ years of relevant experience in a Print Shop environment
EDUCATION:
• Post high school technology training or experience
EXPERIENCE: 6 months to 1 year experience in a Customer Service environment 1 to 2 years’ experience in a Print Shop environment
