Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the CFO, the Plant Controller will have the following responsibilities:
- Provides an accurate & timely reporting on results & KPIs (budget, actual, forecasts) for the plant
(financial & operational reporting)
- Ensures costs follow-up and control of flows at plant level
- Checks and challenges upstream master data needed for inventory valuation and product
costing (bill of materials...)
- Reports and explains in a fact-based and transparent manner his assessment of the plant
performance based on day-to-day interactions with business owners
- Takes active part into field actions / plant management routines and analyzes operating events
to anticipate their potential impacts on financials and to identify improvement levers
- Supports plant manager in building & implementing performance action plans. Ensures
adequate tracking is in place to assess impacts of actions plans on financial results
- Other related taks
Qualifications
- CPA, an important asset
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Ability to take initiative
- Bilingual environment
- Strong work ethic and great attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Leadership
- Advanced Excel
