Responsibilities
The planning and budget analyst will have the following responsibilities:
Participate in the development of the company's annual budget by collaborating with the different departments;
Actively participate in quarterly forecasts;
Prepare financial reports and ad hoc analyzes on the various products manufactured to help management make informed decisions;
Closely monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions;
Develop accurate financial forecasts by analyzing historical data, market trends and operational metrics;
Participate in updating the standard cost in light of new information obtained;
All other related tasks
Qualifications
For this role of planning and budget analyst, we are looking for a person who:
Holds a bachelor's degree in accounting;
Holds the CPA title or equivalent, an asset;
Has at least 5 years of experience in a management controller role, in accounting or FP&A;
Possesses bilingualism;
Has a sense of rigor and good management of priorities;
Has experience in the manufacturing industry, an asset.
