We are supporting our client, a leading non-retail pharmacy, with their search for an experienced pharmacist to join their well-established team. Pharmacists with experience working in any pharmacy setting are encouraged to apply. In this role, you will primarily focus on tasks relating to clinical verification, follow-ups on admin items, getting authorizations, extending prescriptions, med reconciliations, and other pharmacy service delivery, while collaborating with a team of 35-40 pharmacy professionals to foster strong relationships among all licensed and support personnel.

Responsibilities
Pharmacist - Winnipeg, MB - Healthcare
- Ensuring compliance with College of Pharmacy requirements when delivering pharmacy service
- Ensuring patient care and safety while completing all typical duties of a pharmacist in a non-patient-facing setting
- Supporting operations which may include some accountability for ensuring efficient workflow and efficient team operations
- Performing clinical verification
- Complete routine follow-ups on administrative items to ensure timely completion
- Managing the authorization process for prescriptions, extending prescriptions as needed, and performing comprehensive medication reconciliation
- Other duties as required to support patient care and safety
Qualifications
Pharmacist - Winnipeg, MB - Healthcare
- Licensed Pharmacist in Manitoba and in good standing with the Manitoba College of Pharmacy
- Pharmacists of any level of experience are encouraged to apply (including new graduates) but the preferred candidate has at least one year's experience working in a high-volume pharmacy in Canada (long term care, central fill, specialty, mail order/online or related)
- Detail-oriented with excellent time-management skills
