Our client is looking for an experienced Payroll & HR technician for a maternity leave replacement. This opportunity is in office, located on Cote-De-Liesse in Ville St-Laurent. The ideal candidate would have 3-5 + year of experience in both payroll and HR related tasks. Payroll is biweekly for approximately 60 QC employees, non-unionized. HR tasks include talent acquisition, recruitment and assisting with employee inquiries.

Responsibilities

- Process bi-weekly payroll for 60 QC employees
- Validating hours
- Processing and pulling reports
- Processing sick days / vacation days for employees
- Reconciliations in PowerPay
- Take part in recruitment and hiring processes
- Respond and resolve employee queries
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 3-5 + years of experience in a relevant role
- Proficiency in Ceridian (Dayforce / Powerpay)
- Excellent communication skills both English and French
- Must be a team-player !
