Position Title: Payroll Administrator
Reports To: Manager, Payroll Operations
Work Location: Kelowna, BC
Work Hours: PT, 24 hours per week (flexible)
Start date: ASAP (before November 14th)
Advantages

- Pay rate up to $38/hr
- Transit accessible location in Kelowna, BC
- Immediate start date, as early as September 23rd
Responsibilities
- Process full-cycle payroll for hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage time and attendance rules, process Records of Employment (ROEs), and handle garnishment orders.
- Apply provisions from collective agreements and handle special payments and exceptions.
- Perform payroll data entry, analysis, and audits, including PIER payroll audits and off-cycle payments.
- Reconcile and pay quarterly/annual holidays, and manage data imports and reports on platforms like Agile and SharePoint.
- Ensure payroll-related inquiries and issues are resolved promptly.
- Handle Service Canada inquiries and ensure compliance with tax withholding and reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in payroll, preferably with certification (PCP) through the National Payroll Institute.
- Strong knowledge of payroll and benefits principles, along with proficiency in payroll systems (Employer D, Workday, Agile) preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage high-pressure deadlines.
