Responsibilities
Your workday in this bakery as a Packer will include:
Maintaining the supply of material (boxes, labels, trays, cartons, etc.)
Having skids ready and in good working order
Ensuring the product is properly labelled and identification of product is accurate
Picking and packing of products into bags/boxes
Job rotation throughout the day
Placing cracker dough on industrial sheets
Operating the mixer and lifting bags of flour, sugar, etc.
Adding ingredients to the mixer and operating the machine
Performing quality assurance of products
Monitoring oven temperature
Qualifications
To qualify for this Bakery Packer position in Cambridge, you should be:
Comfortable lifting 30-50 lbs
Comfortable working 8-hour shifts
Comfortable using a pump truck to manually move skids of baked goods
Comfortable with repetitive work
