Responsibilities
- Provide product positioning guidance and deal pricing to Sales across various BBM segments and industry verticals
- Perform financial analysis and modeling for deal pricing requests
- Capture client opportunity and pricing information within pricing database
- Perform product pricing reviews, post-mortem offer analysis, and win oss analysis
- Gather and draw out pricing insights based on performance, market & competitive intelligence, and customer data
- Develop and maintain pricing tools
- Assist with pricing database hygiene, maintenance, and enhancements
- Develop Executive reports and scorecards
- Uncover and implement pricing process improvements
- Develop business cases to launch new promotional offers and marketing programs to the channel
- Support other ad hoc pricing programs and initiatives
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to analyze data, interpret results and draw out insights
- Ability to synthesize large amounts of data / information
- Strong Excel skills including advanced/expert knowledge of formulas, knowledge/experience with Visual Basic a plus
- Ability to build and interpret financial business cases and cash flows
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; strong knowledge in Microsoft PowerPoint/Word
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, ability to influence Sales and Management
- Strategic thinking and creative problem solving skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple requests and projects while maintaining close attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong self-discipline and ability to complete tasks independently
- Knowledge of telecom and the business benefits of technology-enabled solutions a plus
- Comfortable solving ambiguous business problems
- Business experience a plus
- Telecom experience a plus
- Bachelor Degree from an accredited university in an analytical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, Economics)
- Graduate education and current membership to industry associations are a plus
- Pricing experience
- Financial Analysis
