Our client is seeking a skilled Operations Officer for a hybrid role, requiring onsite work three times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday). In this position, you will utilize your strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and ability to manage high volumes of work to support critical business functions.
Pay Rate: $25/hr
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm

Responsibilities
- Provide a broad range of operational support, performing general to specialized transactions and processing activities within the Operations and Business Services function.
- Execute transactions accurately and on time, adhering to established guidelines and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Refer or escalate operational issues based on a solid understanding of the issue, collaborating with the appropriate functions or partners to resolve and maintain service quality.
- Identify opportunities for improving service delivery and support partners with incoming transactions, validating information and making adjustments within authority levels.
- Manage your workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity, and stay informed of internal and industry regulations, applying due diligence in adherence to policies and procedures.
- Exercise discretion in managing confidential information and escalate issues when necessary.
- Review and enhance internal processes, investigate non-standard or high-risk activities, and ensure compliance with enterprise frameworks and Bank Code of Conduct.
Qualifications
MUST HAVE:
- Bilingual in French and English
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle high workloads; understanding of SLAs and due dates
- Adaptability to changing policies and procedures
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and apply critical thinking
- Previous banking experience (credit/debit transactional knowledge and transaction analysis)
- High school diploma required - Post-Secondary is an asset.
Nice to Have:
- Bookkeeping or accounting background
- Financial background
