We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Officer to join the Wealth Shared Services team in Toronto. This role involves supporting peak season volumes, working in a hybrid environment with mandatory onsite presence on Mondays and Tuesdays. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in back-office operations and a desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. While banking or financial institution (FI) experience is a plus, it is not mandatory.

Responsibilities
- Customer focused: Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Address and resolve customer problems using established procedures and escalate when necessary and ensure that all processes, inquiries, and transactions meet service level goals.
- Shareholder driven duties: Act as a subject matter expert within your area, offering guidance to partners as needed.
- Complete assigned tasks with accuracy and within established standards.
- Actively participate in daily work distribution and team touchpoints.
- Contribute to audits by following audit and process guidelines.
- Identify areas of risk and escalate concerns as necessary.
- Operational Duties: Suggest and participate in process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Understand and apply bank/service center operating policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate adaptability to change and adopt new processes and technology improvements as needed.
- Maintain due diligence to ensure the accuracy of all transactions.
Qualifications
Must Have:
Proven operations experience in a similar environment.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Previous back-office experience, demonstrating attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Nice to Have:
Coding experience.
Prior work experience in banking or financial institutions (FI).
