Responsibilities
Maintenance team- Tasks that will support the maintenance of a mortgage discharge.
- Triaging solicitor request for the mortgage statement
- Data entry into the mortgage tool
- Maintenance of the security library
- Collect interest owed payments
- Applying payments to mortgages, closing those accounts, and some manual accounting required
- Transferring money from accounts, and balancing the GL accounts.
- Updating the systems.
- Discharge statement group- responsible for paying to accuracy and book discharge loan statements.
Qualifications
Bilingual: Fluency in English and Quebecois French is a must.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of data entry experience; experience in banking, financial institutions, or bookkeeping is a plus.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and communication skills. Ability to troubleshoot IT system issues and navigate them effectively.
Education: Post-secondary diploma or degree preferred.
