Position: Operations Officer
Shift: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, with occasional 9:00 am - 6:00 pm shifts
Salary: $27 per hour
Location: Toronto (Hybrid - 2 days onsite, Wednesday is fixed, second day flexible)

Responsibilities
• Responsible for settling CDS and DTC T007 and 5036 loans/borrows/repays and collateral tickets by end of day.
• Monitor and report settlement discrepancies to TDSI Lending Traders and TDSI Margin group, ensuring prompt resolution.
• Manage settlements efficiently in a multi-tasked environment, meeting all deadlines.
• Investigate, resolve, and escalate issues to Management and TDSI Lending Traders.
• Handle Mark to Market, Contract Compare, Fees and Rebate, Reconciliations, and Recall functions.
• Provide operational support to TDSI Traders (real-time position checks, position movement, inquiries).
• Maintain and file documentation for audit purposes.
• Participate in weekly Late Collateral rotation shifts and ensure coverage during time off.
• Participate in daily huddles, WPE, and Hybrid Model meetings.
• Ensure all FX and wire requests are authorized per assigned limit.
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience in settlements, preferably within the securities lending industry.
• Proven reconciliation and back-office settlement experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Securities Lending is a must.
• Experience with Depository and Reconciliation is a plus.
