The Operations Manager will drive productivity, accountability, and continuous process improvement by utilizing LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities
-Experience with LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies to drive production, accountability, and continuous process improvement. Focus on achieving optimal results in productivity, quality, safety, and fostering positive employee relations.
-Responsible for monitoring and managing key performance indicators, including Cost per Unit, Variable Cost per Unit, Units per Hour, inventory accuracy, and employee utilization and performance rates.
-Create a safe working environment for all team members.
-Oversees new and refresher training programs to ensure employees adhere to Method, Pace, and Safe Motion Dynamics across all operational functions.
-Ensure that departmental standard work methods are established, documented, and consistently executed by the entire team.
-Leverage system reporting and volume forecasts to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained to meet performance metrics, including proactive planning for peak volumes.
-Collaborate with Engineering and other cross-functional teams to identify and implement process changes that enhance team performance across all metrics.
-Lead and develop a team responsible for all general warehouse activities, including creating succession plans and providing opportunities for upskilling team members.
Qualifications
-6+ years of experience in general distribution and direct-to-consumer operations, preferably in settings with variable volume demands.
-Distribution full cycle processes
-Strong problem solving skills while creating positive revenue
-Proven experience in maximizing team productivity and growth
-Proficient in Microsoft Office (strong with Excel)
-Adept at engaging with individuals and teams to gather opinions, actively listen, challenge concepts, and reach consensus
-Knowledgeable regarding lean manufacturing and change management
