Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive production schedules to ensure efficient use of resources and meet production targets.
- Plan and coordinate workflows to optimize production efficiency, minimize downtime, and reduce costs.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
- Create and manage detailed production plans, including material requirements, labor allocation, and equipment utilization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor and adjust production schedules as needed to address changes in demand, supply chain disruptions, or equipment issues.
- Provide regular updates to management on production status, scheduling, and potential disruptions.
Qualifications
- Degree in a related field (e.g., business, operations, or engineering).
- Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of production processes, resource allocation, and scheduling principles.
- Familiarity with industry-specific software and systems (e.g., ERP, MRP).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
