Salary range for Office assistant from $20 to $24 hourly

Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Piscataway. As the Office assistant, you will provide essential administrative support, particularly to the finance and human resources departments, to ensure the smooth operations of day-to-day activities. This role will involve greeting visitors, managing calls, handling internal and external communications, organizing unit activities, and serving as the primary contact person for technical and administrative inquiries.
Provide administrative support to the finance and human resources departments, including maintaining paper and electronic files
Greet visitors and manage incoming calls. Handle incoming mail and courier shipments
Update documents and coordinate internal and external communications
Organize activities within the unit. Serve as the main contact person for technical and administrative inquiries
Ensure the accuracy and reliability of data entered into the systems
Update bale tag spreadsheet. Manage Bills of Lading (BOLs) and Proof of Deliveries (PODs)
Oversee the supply of work tools, including office supplies
Coordinate, communicate, and execute engagement activities
Perform any other general office and administrative tasks as required
