Responsibilities
Manage and grow partnerships with key news organizations, trade associations, and local publishers in the U.S. and Canada.
Execute go-to-market strategies, programs, and training initiatives aligned with partnership goals and product offerings.
Represent the voice of news partners internally, providing input to help shape product development and partnership strategy.
Support business development by negotiating and executing licensing agreements and other partnership contracts.
Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams (including Marketing, Comms, Policy, and Product) to align on partner initiatives and ensure consistent execution.
Contribute to the development and scaling of initiatives aimed at supporting smaller, local news publishers.
Qualifications
BA/BS degree in a technical, business, or related field—or equivalent practical experience.
4+ years of experience in News Publishing, Business Development, Strategy Consulting, Media, or Corporate Strategy.
Demonstrated success in managing strategic partnerships and cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience leading complex strategic or operational projects in matrixed organizations.
Familiarity with the media or technology sectors, especially relating to public policy or journalism.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Experience in licensing, negotiations, or business development in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
