Responsibilities
The Consultant will be responsible for providing the following Services:
•Play a key role in the operational team, with focus on evergreening and operational support
•Resolve complex cross functional technical issues in a timely manner
•Participate in the planning and execution of testing related to production deployment validation, performance, failover and vulnerabilities remediation, and disaster recovery
•Analyze the current solutions environment to identify deficiencies and opportunities for simplification as part of continuous improvements and evergreening activities
•Define and implement required upgrades and changes to address operational problems or new business requirements as well as support problem troubleshooting in Prod and non-prod environments
•Other related activities and deliverables, as required
Qualifications
The Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills:
•Minimum of five (5) years of experience in testing or/and operation or/and development or/and integration in network management environments
•Minimum of five (5) years of experience with network equipment, specifically with Cisco switching and routing platforms (Cisco 9K, 9300s, 6508 and APIC)
•Demonstrated knowledge and experience in IT Operations work, including the operational capabilities and typical challenges of IT Operations
•Demonstrated ability to participate with the development process (supporting continuous integration and deployment) from idea to implementation
•Demonstrated experience with scalable and highly available service-oriented architectures
•Demonstrated experience in working with Agile methodology
The following will also be considered:
•Demonstrated experience in working with Cisco NCS 5500
•Demonstrated experience in working with ServiceNow
•Demonstrated experience working with F5 Load balancers
•Demonstrated experience in working with Cisco ASA and/or Firepower Technologies
