Responsibilities
• Work with the Engineering team to design and dimensioning the network.
• Work with Operation Team to prepare and implement the network changes.
• Develop the solution and implement the new requirement from different teams.
• Perform E2E applications and feature testing.
• Support other teams for the projects related to Mobile Data Core network.
Qualifications
MUST HAVE
• Experience in Telco domain, especially over LTE and IMS Core Network.
• Understanding of end to end call flows in LTE and IMS Core.
• Have experience creating, reviewing, implementing MOPs
• Hand-on experience over Linux
• Working knowledge of protocols, such as TCP/UDP, SIP , DIAMETER
• Key network elements are - MME, Media Gateways, DNS, Policy and Charging Function, switches.
• Familiar with packet analysis through Wireshark.
Packet Core Network
• 5G: 1 year
• EPC: 5 year
• Mobile Networks: +5 years
• NFV, Openstack: +3 years
• Native cloud: +1 year
• Evolved Packet Core (EPC) Experience with Mobility 3G / 4G / 5G, strong understanding of the call-flow processing.
• 5G preferred but not mandatory if strong 4G skills
• Excellent Understanding of the end-to-end network architecture and network element functionality including:
o SMF / UPF / AMF / MME, SGW, PGW, GGSN, SGSN, PCF/PCRF
o NFV and Cloud Native Architecture
o Subscriber profile and storage (UDM / HSS / HLR)
o 5G / CUPS / LTE architecture
• Offline / Online Charging architectures (Gx, Gy and Sy interfaces)
• Deep Packet Inspection
• Data Center deployment as required for virtualized platforms
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, including TCP / UDP / IP / GTP / SCTP / GTP / diameter protocols
• Experience with Dynamic Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, etc)
• Strong troubleshooting skills with different tools, e.g. wireshark
• Leaf-Spine Architectures, ToR (Top of Rack interface)
• Good team player and strong communication skills.
• Tools / scripting languages. (Python, Perl, etc)
• Expertise with Linux and various scripting languages.
• Interoperability Testing (IOT) methodologies
• Dockers / Kubernetes
• Containers / Microservices principles
