Millwright / Mechanic

Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Rockingham, as the Millwright / Mechanic :

• Performing regular preventative maintenance tasks.
• Identifying any repairs or needs
• Communicate effectively with Production Managers, Supervisors, and production team members
• Documentation repair and preventative maintenance daily work items timely and accurately
• Work in a teaming environment with other maintenance mechanics
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Daily completion of work orders
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly area maintenance owning a specified area and maintaining it, also making recommendation for improvements.
• Work in harsh conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.)
• Comply with the plant’s food packaging safety system
• Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, environmental compliance, follow all PPE and food regulation requirements and standards.

• Ability to understand and work efficiently with maintenance parts software.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Ability to read and properly understand part numbers on documents and products.
• Maintain consistent attendance, positive attitude, and initiative.
