Responsibilities
Provide mechanical maintenance and support across all departments to ensure efficient facility operations
Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime and prevent unexpected failures
Ensure a safe and efficient work environment by servicing and maintaining all machinery
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to reduce production delays and enhance manufacturing efficiency
Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence
Record and communicate maintenance concerns through daily verbal and written reports to supervisors
Maintain and optimize processing and packaging equipment for peak performance
Ensure all machinery meets GMP, safety, and regulatory compliance standards
Provide detailed shift reports, including parts usage, downtime analysis, and root cause identification
Uphold food safety, quality, and compliance regulations in all maintenance activities
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), health, and safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment
Qualifications
Valid 433A Millwright License or an equivalent certification from another province or country
Ontario Industrial Mechanic Millwright Certificate of Qualification is preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and equipment maintenance
High school diploma or equivalent education is required
Must provide proof of a valid Millwright license from any province or country for consideration
