Responsibilities
-Perform daily processing and analysis of alternative investment products, with a focus on OTC derivatives.
-Deliver accurate and timely reporting and ensure the appropriateness of accounting for performance and exposure analysis.
-Support junior staff as needed and act as a subject matter resource.
-Execute core accounting functions, including general ledger updates, profit and loss (P&L) analysis, and reconciliation clearance.
-Monitor net cash flows and calculate mark-to-market (MTM) for all open positions.
-Ensure data is accurately posted to appropriate reporting platforms.
-Maintain compliance with Client’s Trust Agreements and regulatory requirements.
-Respond to ad hoc requests as directed by the manager.
Qualifications
Must-Have:
-Experience in Fund Accounting, Derivatives Administration, Fund of Funds, Hedge Funds, Pension Reporting, or Equity Funds.
-Strong understanding of Derivatives systems and integration.
-Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel (VBA/Macros preferred).
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
-Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
-Flexibility to work scheduled shifts (9:00am–5:30pm or 10:00am–6:30pm).
Nice-to-Have:
-Experience with securities and regulatory reporting.
-Familiarity with Bloomberg Terminal or W360 is a plus.
-Enrollment in a recognized accreditation program (e.g., CAIA, CGA, CMA, CFA).
-Working knowledge of GAAP and demonstrated leadership skills.
