Randstad Guelph is currently looking for a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join a growing team in Puslinch at their manufacturing facility.

A successful candidate has experience using hand tools, can read measuring tools and other instruments, and has at least 5 years of experience using an overhead crane and a propane counterbalance forklift.
This is a custom shop, so we are looking for candidates who know their stuff! In this role, you'll see a wide variety of parts, tools, and assembly techniques.

Responsibilities
- assemble parts based on drawings and make sure the materials match the list
- check the materials before and after assembly to make sure they meet the drawings, work properly, and look good. Make adjustments if needed
- follow safety rules and keep your work area clean and organized
- complete other tasks as assigned by the Manager
- some heavy lifting may be required
Qualifications
- ability to work 40 hours a week
- reliable and personal transportation as it is not transit accessible
- experience in a custom manufacturing shop using hand tools
- a valid forklift license and experience operating the propane counterbalance
- experience working with an overhead crane
- ability to lift up to 50lbs
