Shift: 7AM-3.30PM
Pay: $21/hr
> Under the guidance of the Mechanical Team Lead and reporting to the Production Coordinator, the Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembly of electrical panels, enclosures, and electrical assembly of materials handling equipment projects.
> The assembler will interpret manufacturing information documents in order to mechanically assemble or modify components to ensure compliance to Quality standards and make the necessary adjustments in order to meet those standards.

Responsibilities
You Will :
> Review and interpret drawings and schematics.
> Inspects all components, prior to assembly, for visual defects and damage.
> Build and troubleshoot complex assemblies using drawings, schematics and process plans.
> Use various fixtures, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product.
> Review mechanical performance of completed assemblies to ensure compliance to quality standards and make necessary adjustments.
> Follow Eaton 5S Processes for Material Maintenance and Inventory Management (Replenishment system).
> Actively support the EPC Safety, 5S Processes, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
> Maintain work areas in a clean, orderly and safe manner, including the return of tools to designated areas.
> Reporting to the Team Lead, Mechanical on work related activities on a regular basis.
> Perform other duties as assigned, including but not limited to assisting fabrication and wiring teams, when necessary.
Qualifications
> Completion of High School or GED equivalent is required at a minimum. Diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering considered an asset. Ability to lift heavy materials.
> Must be authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Skills
> 1 year of experience in the assembly or repair of product in a manufacturing environment is preferred. --Prior experience in testing electrical control assemblies considered an asset. A combination of education and experience will also be considered.
> Forklift/overhead crane certification considered an asset.
