Responsibilities
• Perform inspections to identify mechanical, electrical, or system issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
• Repair engines, brakes, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and other vehicle or machinery components.
• Conduct routine maintenance to ensure equipment efficiency and longevity.
• Test completed repairs to verify safety and proper functionality, resolving any residual issues.
• Order, install, and replace defective or worn-out parts while maintaining an inventory of essential components.
• Document all repair and maintenance work accurately in service logs and reports.
• Communicate repair findings, solutions, and cost estimates to customers, if applicable.
• Adhere to workplace safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; certification in Automotive Technology or Diesel Mechanics is preferred.
• Proven experience as a mechanic or in a related role with expertise in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and working in demanding environments.
• A valid driver’s license may be required based on job duties.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
