Responsibilities
-Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly journal entries and financial statements
-Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting packages aligned with company policies
-Provide in-depth analysis to explain results and assist with forecasting
-Partner with key business units to evolve and enhance reporting capabilities
-Support external auditor requests during interim and year-end audits
-Contribute to ad hoc financial analysis and strategic planning activities
-Research and implement changes in reporting requirements, ensuring compliance and relevance
-Drive continuous improvement by streamlining reporting processes and enhancing documentation
-Act as a backup for other roles within the Finance team, ensuring operational continuity
Qualifications
Must-Have:
-CPA designation (CA, CGA, CMA), MBA, or equivalent experience
-Minimum 3 years’ experience in finance roles within the financial services industry
-Advanced Excel skills with strong knowledge of financial analytical systems
-Proficiency with accounting/reporting tools such as Tableau
-Strong initiative and a client-focused approach
-Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
-Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have:
-Experience with insurance products and insurance-specific accounting practices
