Responsibilities
• Develop and implement change management plans, coach and mentor staff through the change process, and communicate plans to stakeholders to ensure their understanding and buy-in.
• Develop training programs to help employees adapt to changes and evaluate the success of change management initiatives.
• Perform data and cost analysis to identify areas for improvement, generating actionable insights using Excel, and creating comprehensive reports to support strategic decision-making
• Support other internal Strategic Category Management teams and other stakeholders for ad hoc projects and analyses
• Leverage and interpret commodity data from multiple sources (Market research e.g. IHS, Mintec; local regulations, commodity tracking databases, web search) to analyze impact on product costs.
• Act as a thought-partner for the merchant teams on issues related to commodity pricing; be the subject matter expert
• Support with various business and tech related initiatives to drive strategic projects
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in management or tech disciplines – MBA preferred
• Experience in Retail business specifically merchandising or other functions supporting merchants
• Experience leading change management processes specially in new technology and data management system adoption
• A data-savvy leader well versed in leading organizations on the data driven decision making journey and how new data systems can be adopted across organizations
• Excellent communication, coaching, and mentoring skills
• Ability to effectively deal with stakeholders
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills to solve complex issues
• Ability to operate changes on your own and as part of a group
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Adeptness in using advanced tools and software, like project management software, to manage change processes
• Expertise in influencing others to support change
• Organizing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Ensuring that changes are accomplished on time and within budget
• Experience with Dashboarding tools like Power BI & Tableau with some SQL experience is highly desirable
