Responsibilities
•Initiating, implementing, and managing the plant maintenance and tool and die program based on best practices with an emphasis on machine uptime, planning/scheduling, and preventative/predictive maintenance.
•Monitoring the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary.
•Maintaining and improving Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program to continuously drive to minimize unplanned downtime and cost.
•Managing safety programs/practices to ensure a safe work environment.

Qualifications
•Minimum of 5+ years’ Canadian experience as a licensed maintenance Millwright 433 A with supervisory experience in the plastics or metal manufacturing industry.
•This is a working Supervisor role leading 3 millwrights, with 50% hands-on troubleshooting, analyzing and fixing machine issues and 50% planning, organizing, purchasing, and working with external maintenance suppliers and contractors.
•A working knowledge of programmable logic controllers, hydraulics, electrical, and pneumatics is required.
•A proactive and action-oriented nature, relative to reaction to emergencies as well as preventative and predictive maintenance.
•Strong leadership skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Experience in Lean Manufacturing principles.
