Salary Range for Maintenance Planner starts at $63,000 / year
At our Cascades in Calgary, AB you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Packaging division of our team as the Maintenance Planner:
Safety-Focused Planning:
Ensure safe execution of planned tasks and activities.
Prioritize safety in green and yellow filter meetings.
Efficient Maintenance Management:
Schedule maintenance activities two weeks in advance.
Manage processes, create work order models, and capture corrective actions in CMMS.
Strategic Coordination:
Coordinate with production for optimal use of time.
Coordinate external contractors for vacation coverage and routine inspections
Project Management and Support:
Implement projects, conduct statistical analysis of trends and KPIs.
Support divisional and corporate objectives, including health & safety, productivity, continuous improvement, waste and 5S.

Maintenance Coordination and Technical Proficiency:
Direct experience in coordinating maintenance activities with in-depth knowledge of equipment and manufacturing processes.
Proficient use of computer programs, including Guide TI, MS Office, and SAP.
Proactive Problem-Solving and Collaboration:
Ability to assess situations, take initiative, and propose solutions.
Effective collaboration, teamwork, and communication skills.
Organizational Skills and Industry Knowledge:
Strong organizational abilities, prioritizing tasks to meet objectives within budget and time constraints.
Knowledge of the corrugated industry is an asset, commitment to ongoing training and development.
