This established food manufacturer has been in the industry for over 20 years and has chosen the Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge region as the home of its Canadian operations. We’re seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager who thrives in the action—not just behind a desk.

- Day shift, Monday - Friday
Responsibilities
- Create PM schedules, SOPs and GMPs
- Design and implement a cost-effective maintenance strategy to maximize asset reliability
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes and automation systems
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure engineering solutions align with production needs
- Lead a maintenance team of approximately 5 individuals (that you will build). Hiring, coaching and performance reviews
- Installation, troubleshoot and repair a variety of machines, not limited to: Mixers, formers, conveyors, ovens, packaging, silos and weigh stations
Qualifications
- You posess either a 442a or 433a license
- You have at least 5 years experience in management within the food manufacturing industry
- You have experience leading a multi-shift operation
- Experience with automation, lean manufacturing, HACCP and CFIA
- You have strong organizational, communication (written and oral) and leadership skills
- You are proficient in the Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel
