Pay Range: $23 - $26 per hour

Responsibilities
Tenant Relations:
Respond to resident maintenance inquiries.
Communicate maintenance updates to residents and schedule any necessary repairs.
Prepare notices for regular maintenance and 24-hour notices for pre-move out inspections.
Maintenance Administration:
Generate Purchase Orders (POs) based on work orders and obtain approval from the Property Manager.
Order trades based on approved POs and coordinate contractor access.
Match invoices with POs and close work orders in the system.
Perform routine building inspections and report any issues to the Property Manager.
Coordination of Maintenance & Cleaning Duties:
Coordinate maintenance work for turnover suites and daily cleaning of properties.
Schedule and coordinate daily maintenance requests and weekly inspections of recreation facilities.
Conduct move-out inspections and ensure availability of maintenance supplies.
Adhere to all health and safety policies for the maintenance team.
Collaboration:
Report directly to the Residential Property Manager and work closely with the Property Manager, Cleaning & Maintenance Staff, Project Manager, and contractors.
Provide emergency on-call coverage to coordinate contractors as needed.
Qualifications
Education: Minimum high school diploma (Grade 12/13).
Experience: 3-5 years of practical experience in a maintenance or coordination role.
Strong communication skills with a service-oriented mindset.
Excellent planning and organizational abilities.
Good judgment and attention to detail.
Strong computer skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage stress.
Knowledge of and adherence to safety protocols and regulations.
