- Hours of operation: Monday to Friday: either 8am to 4pm, 8:30am to 4:30pm or 9am to 5pm
Responsibilities
• Prepare mail and packages for external shipment using common mail services, air express, freight and postal services.
• Receive, sort and process mail documents, packages, and supplies. Notify recipients.
• Basic Printing utilizing colour production printers
• Record & process accountable mail information, maintain logs.
• Arrange alternative courier or shipping services to meet customer requirements.
• Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Perform quality checks on outbound mail.
• Perform charge-back reporting for postage, air express, local delivery, and faxes.
• Perform mail labeling/mail merge.
• Perform electronic mail distribution (open, mail prep, scan and distribute).
• Perform fulfillment functions, such as assembly, packaging, and kitted materials.
• Follow mailroom security procedures.
• Perform logging, transmission, receipt, and timely distribution of faxes.
• Deliver and pick-up mail on scheduled runs.
• Recommend improvements to achieve cost savings and optimize workflow.
• Track, trace, and resolve mail problems or concerns.
• Monitor/order/replenish supplies inventory.
• Able to be on your feet 80% of the time.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability and willingness to learn.
• Meeting & training room set-ups as per client request.
• Support meetings with catering services as required.
• Monitor kitchens & Coffee stations are in proper order, ordering supplies as required.
• Respond to employee service requests and action through appropriate systems.
• Follow-up on open facilities tickets through to completion.
• Understanding of production print
• Ability to perform bindery and finishing on printed pieces
Qualifications
• Good communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal.
• Self-motivated.
• Able to read, write and follow English instructions.
• Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office, Outlook & Teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform duties with minimal supervision.
• Ability to operate high volume mail and insertion equipment.
• 6 months to 1 year experience in a professional working environment.
• Experience in a client-facing environment.
• Previous dock experience.
• Experience with lift truck and material handling equipment.
• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Standing/Sitting for prolonged periods of time
