Machine Operator/Laborer

Responsibilities
What is a typical workday?
- Operating a machine used to cut metal pipes
- Perform his/her work without risk in a safe manner, avoiding injury to his/her self as well as fellow workers
- Taking cut metal pipe off the press line, palletizing it and banding it for the forklift
- Shipping and receiving of material
- Material handling up to 50 lbs.
- Recognize and report as soon as possible, any unsafe act or condition, or any defect in any protective equipment, device or clothing

Qualifications
- Previous machine operation and general labour experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. repetitively
- Ability to work by his/her self to complete the job
- Attention to details
- Ability to work with in a team environment
- 2 supervisory references
