Position: Machine Operator
Shift: Day Shift
Salary: $21.78/hr

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Loading and unloading hangers, performing spot welding, heat shrinking, and operating tunnel, tap, drill, and pneumatic pemserter press equipment.
Coordinating workflow and ensuring smooth production.
Performing prep work (manual wash), cleaning, and adjusting equipment; applying finishing materials.
Processing work orders via SAP or as instructed.
Conducting check-do-check processes and completing daily reports.
Troubleshooting quality issues and proposing solutions.
Operating hoists, cranes, and various deburring equipment (hand sanders, strip sander, finishing mills).
Grinding and buffing imperfections.
Accurately reporting tasks and times in FTPC.
Supporting other job families as needed.
Providing training to other employees.
Participating in safety and LEAN/Six Sigma training and improvement initiatives.
Adhering to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Maintaining positive work relationships.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
Mechanical and technical aptitude.
Sheet metal experience
Resistance welding experience (an asset).
Problem-solving skills.
Blueprint reading skills.
Ability to read and understand written instructions (CSPs and DWIs).
Computer proficiency (SAP, FTPC).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Safe use of manual and power tools and machinery.
Re-tooling/component handling experience.
