Responsibilities
- Supervise and support teams in shipping, receiving, and material handling functions.
- Coordinate truck movements and warehouse operations to maintain a smooth flow of goods.
- Ensure 100% on-time, accurate shipments, and manage delivery performance concerns.
- Oversee inventory of returnable packaging, including repairs and distribution.
- Champion safety and compliance with regulatory standards, conducting inspections and safety talks.
- Lead continuous improvement projects and staff development initiatives.
- Monitor departmental budgets, employee performance, and adherence to company policies.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Materials Management, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of related experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (preferably Solidat) and familiarity with automotive MRP systems.
- Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, process improvement, and supply chain management.
- Knowledge of CTPAT requirements and customs procedures.
- Excellent leadership, communication + organizational skills.
