Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries and provide timely, accurate information regarding ocean reefer imports.
- Coordinate with internal departments (operations, customs, and rates) to ensure the smooth movement of freight.
- Book, track, and manage shipments.
- Manage clients accounts and adhere to all their requests and requirements.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs documents.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to shipments, including delays, damages, or missing cargo.
- Provide proactive updates to clients regarding the status of their shipments.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, including customs requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in ocean imports.
- Excellent bi-lingual English and Spanish, verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs documentation, and freight procedures.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
