Responsibilities
- Organizing operations and handle all request for over the road shipments (full truck load, LTL, oversized, etc)
- Taking responsibility and performing tasks related to all moves for accounts assigned to you
- Carrier relations and to negotiate rates and confirm details of each shipment
- Develop and maintain close working relationships with clients
- Be able to handle several projects at the same time including track and trace
- Support with custom clearances (available after-hours / weekend on-call)
- Follow a shipment from beginning to end and ensure all paperwork is processed properly
Qualifications
- 2 years experience in 3PL or brokerage industry
- Hard worker who is reliable and enjoys getting the job done
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Organized, detail-oriented – excellent follow-up skills are essential
- Ability to work in a collaborative/team environment;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
