Responsibilities
Summary: primary responsibility would be receiving and recording sales orders, preparing all shipping documents and arranging for products to be shipped to customers domestically and internationally via land, sea or air.
Duties include:
Serving customers by providing product and service information and resolving product and service problems
Arranging for appropriate carriers to deliver goods to customers and accurately following any special shipping instructions
Preparing all shipping documents including Delivery Slips, Export Papers, Dangerous Goods and shipping labels
Working with brokerage companies
Qualifications
Knowledge of current national and international import/export regulatory requirements and 2-3 years experience in a related role, preferably in a Chemical Manufacturing environment
Preferred candidates will have Dangerous Goods and WHMIS training
Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently
Knowledge of Chempax, our accounting system, is an asset
