Responsibilities
Create and update products and supplier records in the ERP system
Assign Universal Product Codes (UPC) to new products
Generate and track purchase orders (PO) in the ERP system
Monitor shipments and coordinate bookings with the freight forwarder
Collect and provide the necessary documents for customs clearance
Organize the quick pickup of orders at the local port and delivery to the distribution center
Receive goods into the ERP system upon product arrival
Prepare necessary documents for customers (delivery notes, certificates of conformity, etc.)
Perform any other related tasks as needed by the team
Qualifications
2 to 3 years of experience in a role related to importation, international trade, and coordination with China
Degree in purchasing management or supply chain management
Training in logistics and importation (compliance and import regulations)
Trilingual: fluent in French, English, and Chinese, both oral and written – mandatory
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) – mandatory
Experience with an ERP system – mandatory
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
Negotiation skills to obtain the best terms from suppliers
Attention to detail and accuracy in managing documents and following logistical processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to solve problems quickly and adapt to changes
Analytical skills for solving supply chain issues
Client-oriented, committed to delivering high-quality service
