Responsibilities
-Supporting internal legal counsel (claims)
-Preparing and transferring documentation such as Affidavit of Documents or other discovery documents, releases, coverage letters
-Open/ file files
Organize and maintain claim files
Communicate with insurers, lawyers, and other external parties to gather necessary documentation and facilitate the resolution of claims
Monitor claim progress and deadlines to ensure timely processing
Help prepare and maintain records for litigation purposes
Handle incoming communications related to claims, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate party and documented accurately
Qualifications
-2-5 years of Real estate legal experience in a law firm
-Experience in supporting multiple lawyers simultaneously
-Legal Assistant experience
-Law Clerk experience
-Strong attention to detail
-Exceptional written and verbal communication
-Ability to manage a high volume of files independently
