Responsibilities
• Must be able to read drawings and blueprints
• Set up and operate laser cutting, welding (plus but not required) and engraving
machines according to specifications and blueprints.
• Adjust laser speed and intensity to achieve the desired result
● Maintain and troubleshoot laser equipment
● Monitor the quality of parts produced to ensure they meet industry standards
● Maintain accurate records of the production and operation of the machines
● Handle/Move/Store material before and after cuttings
● Able to check and measure the accuracy of components
● Able to work accurately and pay attention to detail
● Able to work to tight deadlines
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Must be able to work in a Team environment
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in laser cutting required
• Ability to operate and maintain laser cutting machinery
• Comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Must have good communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work assigned hours plus overtime as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
