Work with project team, clients and technology teams to define and document JIRA tool requirements and develop configuration implementation plans.
Configuration & coding of Atlassian objects to meet user requirements.
Maintain configuration specification documents.
Develop training plans and end user training artifacts.
Report status and progress of assigned activities to program management as required.
Identify potential tool features, best practices, and improvements that can be configured to optimize JIRA tool use across project teams.
Other roles, tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
University Degree in either Business Administration or Information Technology OR An equivalent combination of a college diploma (related to Business Administration and/or IT) and/or experience may also be considered.
Minimum of 10 years of experience with administration and configuration of the Atlassian JIRA product and development components.
10 years of demonstrated expertise with JIRA user account administration, configuration, and management. Experience with Atlassian tool configuration and customization knowledge of JIRA, JQL, and JIRA APIs; creation of JIRA templates, custom issues and workflows, custom forms, attributes, and development of dashboards and reports.
6 years of demonstrated expertise deploying project management tools, methodologies, and best practices – to ensure Atlassian tools are optimized and used to their full capabilities across multiple project streams.
10 years of demonstrated experience working with a high level of self-direction, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to confidently engage and collaborate with project team members, subject matter and technical experts, and stakeholders at all levels.
3 years of demonstrated experience with development and delivery of JIRA Training to project team members using a variety of forums and methods. (i.e. in person, online, training guides, learning sessions)
Demonstrated experience working in public sector or healthcare environments, preferably New Brunswick, showcasing a strong understanding of the local landscape, policies, and practices.
Certification as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Developer.
